Dr. Dries Potgieter
Dr. Dries Potgieter qualified as a Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in 2013. He also holds a Certificate in Minimal Invasive Gynaecological Surgery as well as a Masters Degree in The Biotechnology of Human Assisted Reproduction and Embryology. He started off his career after school by qualifying as a Registered Nurse through RAU in 1997. He soon realized that he had a passion for medicine and proceeded to become a doctor. He acquired his MBBCH degree through WITS in 2005. He started to specialize as an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist after his required public service years. His practice is based at Mediclinic Kloof in Pretoria where he lives his passion for female fertility and endoscopic surgery. He is one of the directors at Genesis Reproductive Centre which is also based at Mediclinic Kloof. This is where he performs fertility treatments like In Vitro Fertilization, Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Intrauterine Insemination and Frozen Embryo Transfer.
